I’m Too Lazy for Real Pants

Brandy

In full disclosure here – in my previous post below, “Do your kids dress better than you,” the yoga pants I mentioned are from Lululemon and I absolutely adore them!

When my husband and I first started dating he was shocked that I did not own any “lounging” or sweat pant outfit type clothes.  I always “lounged” in my jeans.  He thought that was strange, or well, I was strange.  I informed him that sweat pant type clothes did not look good on me at all.  They just were not flattering on my body type.  One year for Christmas hubby, then boyfriend, actually bought me a sweat pant outfit.  BIG MISTAKE.  And he saw what I meant – although he wouldn’t say it out loud or admit it – I knew he was agreeing with me.  So, that outfit was returned.

Fast forward a few more years and I tried on a pair of Lululemon pants while on a trip out of town with the girls.  They fit me just perfect and made my @ss look great!  I fell in love for the first time with lounge wear!

At first hubby wouldn’t let me buy the Lulus though because he thought the price was ridiculous.  I thought, “WHAT?  He isn’t agreeing with me when he totally was convinced before that I should own some lounging clothes?  That is insanity!  Here I am somewhat trying to please him and he shoots me down!  GRR!”  In his defense, he was not there to witness the awesomeness of the pants and the miracle they performed on my butt and troubled thigh area.  Trying to convince him over the phone that these pants were a necessary purchase was a total failure.

So, the next time we were in the city I dragged him into the Lululemon store and gave him a show.  He was in total agreement, my butt did look awesome!  ;)

And I love this commercial.  It truly defines my life right now.
