Cascade All-In-One ActionPacs and Dawn Review
When we moved into our current house we were quite excited because we would finally have a dishwasher! No more dish pan hands for me!
For the past couple of years we have been using liquid soap for our dishwasher. And I have to say I have been pretty disappointed in some of the soaps we have been using.
The last liquid soap we used was just not getting the job done. I had been noticing that the edges of our plates and bowls were sticky and our glasses had many spots on them. Nothing was coming quite as clean as I had hoped.
A few weeks ago I received a package of Cascade All-In-One ActionPacs to review. I was quite skeptical. I did not think that a such a small “pac” would be enough to clean all of our dishes.
However, I was quickly proved wrong. After only the first load I noticed quite a difference. My dishes were coming cleaner than ever and no more pre-rinsing of dishes for me! I always thought that pre-washing your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher was a complete waste of time. But it was a step my husband always insisted upon. Not anymore!
The Cascade All-In-One ActionPacs are super easy to use. All you need to do is place one pac in the main dispenser compartment of your dishwasher and close the dispenser door. The pac will dissolve completely during the washing cycle!
One of my favourite things about these pacs is that they are a powder and gel combined. Best of both worlds!
The detergent is also phosphate free which means it will not cause harm to our environment and thus leave our lakes, rivers and streams fresh and clean as well!
Next up is the Dawn Power Lift dishwashing soap. This is also a great product.
I have been using Dawn soaps for years in my kitchen and I have never been disappointed.
We (my husband and I) would hand wash all of our son’s baby bottles when they were first born up until they were around seven months old. We always used Dawn dish soaps to help us get the job done. Not once did we find any soap residue left behind on any of our baby products.
Dawn Power Lift claims to provide “overnight soaking power in 5 minutes.” That is a lofty claim to live up to, but it does.
Just tonight we had a dish that was ripe for testing out Dawn’s claim. I let the filthy pot soak for just 5 minutes in the soap and hot water. Poof! It came off easily.
This soap sure made cleaning this dirty pot less of a chore.
If you are disappointed with the current dishwasher detergents and dishwashing soaps you are using, check out Cascade All-In-One ActionPacs and Dawn Power Lift. They may just save your day and a little of your time!
