Rock And Walk With The New iPod Nano From Staples Canada
I used to wonder why people needed to listen to music as they were out for a walk. Why weren’t they taking the time to revel in the beauty of nature surrounding them?
Now, I get it.
When I am out for my walks and I have my music with me I get energized.
Music can do that to a person.
Music has the ability to pump us up, bring memories to the forefront, and make us smile. For me, music is a way of escaping real life for a wee bit and being my true self.
Sometimes when I am walking with my earbuds in I feel like breaking out into dance. Other times, I feel like I am conducting an orchestra. My arms seem to have a mind of their own and flow along with the rhythm of whatever song I am listening to.
My new iPod Nano from Staples Canada helps put some pep into my step.
Some features of the new iPod Nano:
- 2.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen Multi-Touch display
- The larger screen on the new iPod nano is perfect for viewing photos
- Nike+ support and a pedometer are built into iPod nano, there’s no need to connect a receiver or use a shoe sensor to track your steps, distance, pace, time and calories burned

- Bluetooth 4.0
- Dimensions: 3.01”H x 1.56”W x .21”D

When I first received the iPod Nano I could not believe how small and light it is. It literally feels like you are carrying a feather. Before I received the iPod Nano, I used to take my iPhone to listen to music when going out for a walk. The iPhone was always so awkward to carry around. If I put it in my jacket or pant’s pockets, I felt so weighed down. With the iPod Nano, I can easily forget that it is there. And if I choose to hold it in my hands, it is not much of an inconvenience at all.
The screen of the new iPod Nano is almost twice as big as the previous version of the Nano. I never had the chance to use or see the previous Nano but I am impressed with the resolution and picture quality the big screen provides. It definitely makes watching your favourite movies, TV shows, and/or home videos enjoyable.
Apple also redesigned the earbuds that come with the Nano. They are now called Ear Pods. I cannot believe the quality of the sound that comes out of these small Ear Pods. It sure packs a punch. You will be stunned when you try it for yourself.
If you are like me and enjoy working out to music, the Nano has Nike+ support and a pedometer built right in. These features provide you with that little extra motivation you may need (like me) to get off of the couch and get moving.
I absolutely love my little pink iPod Nano. Now, I just need to find a way to hide it from my children because I know they will be eager to test it out themselves.
