Wordless Wednesday: The Haunted Halloween House #Halloween

Haunted Ginger Bread House Halloween

Halloween is only a couple days away! Are your kids as excited as mine are?

While I was away at Blissdom (I know I cannot stop talking about it) my kids stayed over at my parent’s house for the weekend.

My step-mom, who is very creative, found the kit to build this haunted house and thought it would be a great activity to do with my boys. I have never seen anything like this for Halloween and think it is such a cute and fun activity.

Now, this is not a gingerbread house. I believe it is actually made of sheets of chocolate cookies. I am not exactly sure what brand of kit my step-mom used but this is pretty close to the one we have in our house.

I am glad that my boys had a great time with their grandparents.

And as tradition goes in our family, we will enjoy smashing (with a hammer) this house (as we do with our gingerbread houses) and eating all of the yummy treats it is decorated with once Halloween comes and goes.

Have you ever made a decorative and edible haunted house?

What are you and/or your kids dressing up as this year for Halloween?
