Compliments, Compliment

Sometimes it is hard to accept a compliment when it is given. Sometimes it is not.

Compliments can turn a person’s day around.

Many people do not realize how simple it is to give one.

And compliments do not cost you a thing! They are free for the giving.

Compliments are even sweeter when they come from your children.

The other day I was getting ready to go out to a fundraiser being held for a dear friend of mine.

I changed into a fancy shirt. I put on some makeup. I spritzed myself with some perfume.

When I came into the living room my four-year old gave me a big hug and said…

“Mom, you look really nice. I like your shirt.”

He says the sweetest things. I hope he continues to do so as he gets older.

Have you complimented someone today?

Be sure to take the time to do it. It could make someone’s day.

Compliments from children are always the best. They are so organic. :)

    Nice post!

You look marvellous today, by the way! ;)
