This post came to me last night as I was trying to fall asleep.

Pretty much it is going to be a post about nothing.

Kind of like that TV show called Seinfeld.

Remember how people referred to the show Seinfeld as “the show about nothing?”

I did not watch a lot of Seinfeld when I was growing up.

I caught the odd rerun.

It was somewhat funny. (I know I will probably get flamed for this.)

But my favourite TV show was Friends.

It will always be – hands down – the best TV show of ALL TIME.

OK, maybe that is an over exaggeration but it was a dang good show.

Friends brought many classic lines like…

“We were on a break!” – Ross

“How you doin?” – Joey

“Pivot!” – Ross

“But they don’t know that we know they know we know!” – Phoebe (This is one of my favourite episodes ever.)

“Could I be wearing anymore clothes?” – Joey

“He’s her lobster!” – Phoebe

“Here come the meat sweats.” – Joey

“You’re over me? When were you… under me?” – Ross

“Yeah, it’s like a cow’s opinion. It just doesn’t matter. It’s moo.” – Joey

“If you want to receive e-mails about my upcoming shows, then please give me money so I can buy a computer.” – Phoebe

Friends, TV Show, Cast

Oh, I could go on and on. You get my point.

What is your favourite TV show of all time? Share some memorable quotes from it, if you can remember.

I love Friends…I have the entire boxset and have watched it so many times as well as the reruns on telly but I never get bored. Such a clever show but it spoilt me for life in terms of my expectations…

It is very clever. Sadly some of the shows today just do not compare (maybe I am getting too old).

I was collecting all of the seasons. I think I need two more. And like you, I never get bored. I haven’t watched any in a long while though. Might be time to actually use my DVD sets. :)

Yay!!! I love Friends! I’ve written about it a little too (buried within a post about television generally). I watch it constantly on Nick at Night, even though there are entirely too many commercials. And you’ve listed a bunch of my favorite lines, especially the one about the cow’s opinion. Classic. I also love the bit about Phil Spiderman. Yes, the “They don’t know we know they know” is one of my all time fave episodes too. And I always hated Seinfeld, even though my family loves it. I think they’re too much like my family for me to enjoy it. :)

I need to get back into watching Friends. I miss it.
