Inateck Wireless Bluetooth Speaker & USB Wall Charger Review

Brandy

A few weeks ago I posted on Instagram that I was rocking out to my new bluetooth speaker from Inateck.

Pumping out tunes with my new @inateckofficial #Bluetooth speaker. This is my first time using one and I love it.

I have never used any Bluetooth devices in my life. I have owned a few Bluetooth enabled devices but I had never explored what the devices could do via Bluetooth.

Setting up the Inateck Wireless Bluetooth Speaker was very easy. I thought it was going to be a complicated process but I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I got it to work. Out of the box the speaker was ready to go as all I needed to do was turn it on. (You may want to check to see if the device needs charging and you can charge it via the USB cord included inside the box.)

To test the dual-driver portable wireless stereo speaker I opened up my Bluetooth settings and had my laptop search for the Inateck wireless Bluetooth speaker. Then, I had to pair the two devices. A number code was given and I had to insert the correct code to successfully pair the laptop and the speaker.

Once it was up and running I went to my music program and started playing my favourite songs. It was quite surreal to hear my music coming out of the speaker and not through the laptop’s speakers. I had been missing playing music loudly through a speaker system. We do have a shelf stereo system in our house but it is no longer connected to our television and we rarely use it to play our own music CDs. Who listens to music on CD anymore anyway? My CD collection, which is outdated and some of the CDs now skip, is collecting dust in a closet in our basement.

One of my first big-ticket item purchases that I made with the money I made at my dad’s sawmill was a shelf stereo system (the first purchase was a bicycle). It was a three disc change with two cassette tapes (I get a wee bit sad that my kids will never know what cassette tapes are). I was proud of my big purchase. I took great care of that stereo system. It even moved all the way to Winnipeg with me when I went away for university and then, when I moved in with my boyfriend.

Ah, memories… Anyway… Back to the Bluetooth speaker…

I moved the speaker around from my living room to dining room to see if it would lose connection with the laptop and surprisingly it did not. I am super excited to continue using this device so that I can start dancing in my kitchen again. It does not take up a lot of space and would be perfect to take along if you were going out for a family picnic, camping, or listening to music out in your own backyard. The speaker is the perfect size for travelling as well. I never thought to do this before but my brother brought his own Bluetooth speaker when we were staying in a hotel on a family trip we took recently.

Some important specifications about the speaker are:

  • Built-in lithium battery offers 5-6 hours of play time; Built-in high sensitivity Microphone, listening music anywhere
  • Dual connection with both wired and Bluetooth wireless connection
  • Compatible with Bluetooth enabled media player, phone, iPod, iPad, Android Devices, Google Music, Pandora and all other Bluetooth enabled devices; Equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack for non-Bluetooth devices
  • Signal distance: up to 10m (signal conditions may vary or be less favorable due to interfering signals)
  • Package: 1x Bluetooth Speaker; 1x USB Charge Cable; 1x 3.5mm Audio Cable; 1x Manual

Inateck 4 Port USB Wall Charger

Inateck was also kind enough to send me a 4-Port 30W Compact USB Wall Charger. With two smart-phones, an iPad and a few other devices that charge via a USB connection, I was excited to test this device out. The Inateck wall charger is compact and slim for easy portability. It has a built-in surge protector and is compatible with such devices as ipads, iphones, tablets, e-readers, GPS, cameras, Bluetooth speakers, etc. The four ports are comprised of 2x 5V/2.4A (Super Charger, Interfaces: Supports 5V USB charged devices on sale – Most types of mobile phones, tablet PCs or digital devices) and 2x 5V/1A (Universal, Interfaces: Supports smart phones from iPhone, Samsung & other 1A USB devices).

Overall, I love both of these devices and would highly recommend them for your next Christmas wish list purchase.

I’ve never used Bluetooth devices either, but this sounds cool! We like watching movies on our laptops so this would definitely be handy. Thanks for sharing!

Blu Tooth speakers are a must have these days. You’re right, who listens to CDs anymore! The Inatek sounds like a great gift for anyone who could use a mobile speaker and that multi-charger – wow! We need one of those in our house too! Would make it so much easier than waiting on someone to finish with the plug to charge a phone etc. Thanks for sharing your insight!

I’ve never played with Bluetooth either, I don’t really know for sure that my phone has it although I think so. I would love something like this for my laptop because the speakers are so low normally.

We have two bluetooth wireless speakers at home and we love them. We usually even travel with one. This one seems to be great too. I know what I’ll be buying should we require a new one. Thanks for the great review.
