My Favourite Reads Books Blogs Love

I am fly by posting today. I hope you love these reads as much as I did.

The Maven of Mayhem: Dear Leelah’s Parents – What I Wish You Had Known

“They choose love about judgment. It’s that simple.” I love when an update on the Maven’s Facebook page comes up in my feed. I know I will be in for a great read. I love following her family’s journey as they all adjust to having a new daughter in their family.

Mommy Miracles: Contractions

Laura’s writing gives me chills sometimes. She’s absolutely awesome. “So here I am, in the first month of 2015, sitting on the cusp of something new. It is bigger than a new year. It is a new baby. It is a new stage of life. It is mothering three children. It is maternity leave. It is sustaining a life with the milk that I make. It is sleepless nights. It is a house to care for. It is a growing family. It is big brothers (two of them this time). It is a busy, working husband. And I don’t know what I’ll have to give yet or what space I’ll be able to make in my life.”

A Day in Mollywood: The Blog Decision I Made That I Am Ashamed Of Now

I am so glad that Molly decided to make her posts about mental illness live again. If our posts about our struggles could help just one person, then I know I have done something right.

“I wanted to pretend that I had never written any of it. But that’s not really the truth. I wanted to pretend that none of it had ever happened. I wanted to erase it all.” This is what I think every day… that I just could erase my mental illness. But it is as much a part of me as being Canadian is. I will never be able to erase it.

Mapsgirl: Some Adults Could Learn Humility, Grace and Dignity From My Ten Year Old

Wendy and Craig are raising their daughter’s right. This is an excellent post about how sometimes life can be unfair but how we react to those situations shows the world are true strength of character.

DadMissions: Why Men Peek

I think I found another favourite dad blogger!
