I have tried in the past to make New Year’s Resolutions but for the most part I have not been able to make them stick. A few weeks in and the new habits seem to disappear.

Instead of making your typical New Year’s Resolutions I decided to switch things up. For something new, one year I made a list of goals I wanted to accomplish. Another year I decided to make a few small changes. Then, there was the year of Project Happy. I truly love reliving all of those little but significant happy moments from 2012.

This year I went outside of the box and chose a motto to live by in 2015. Here is to taking the road less traveled and following your feet!

The New Year’s countdown and resolution making might feel like it was ages ago, but that’s no excuse to step away from your goals and give up on your mission to bigger and better things! Continue to make this the year you overcome challenges, achieve the unexpected and build new relationships or even rehash old ones.

    Mine has been to lose 30 pounds. I’ve lost 10 but stalled so now I’m back at it with a vengance!

    I made several, but they are long term goals, really, so I haven’t finished, but I am making decent progress in some areas – like drinking more water – and struggling on some areas – like losing 30 pounds in a week – you know? The usual. :-p

    My 2015 “goal” was to get more shuteye. I was running on very little sleep, especially in the last few months of 2014 – and it became a necessary “resolution”. I’ve been able to put myself to bed earlier and still keep up with work deadlines – but at the expense of my twitter/social media time. I’ll try to work that back in. :) Thanks for the chance Brandy!

    I have stuck with it so far! Mines is to join some sort of gym .. instead, I joined hot yoga classes. I have been attending 4 to 5x a week. =)

    not really – i know i will not keep them – i do try to set goals, and make note of my dreams for the year— January is a fresh start! Always hope to lose weight, exercise more, be happier…

    Mine was to quit smoking, I haven’t fully quit yet but have cut down on the amount I would typically have per day

    I didn’t make any New Year’s Resolutions. I make month to month goals and that is going well. I’m drinking way more water.

    Mine was to play outside more, and I was doing well, but we all got sick so now we haven’t been out for a week.

    My goal was to drink more water and so far I am doing OK with it! I still would like to be more consistent with drinking more than 8 glasses/day

    My goals are to cut Sugar and Carbs as much as possible. Cutting carbs is a bit more easier than sugars. I am still trekking, I am sure I will be for years.
