My 2015 Holiday Gift Guide Especially for Moms
When thinking about a holiday gift guide made especially for moms, I did not have much trouble coming up with a few ideas on what to include. They are all items that I would love to receive!
Some of these gifts are practical and some are not. Many of these gifts I am sure any wife or mom would enjoy.
I do not know about you but sometimes I feel like moms get taken for granted or forgotten about. Further, we are always making sure everyone else is well taken care of but we often forget to take care of ourselves in the process. Or if we do remember to do something for ourselves every once in a while, we feel guilty when we treat ourselves to a little something.
To all of you wives and/or moms, whether you buy your own gifts or have someone in your life who buys gifts for you, here are some ideas for some gifts that will be sure to brighten your day during this holiday season.
Like they say, chocolate is always a great idea and it had to be included in my holiday gift guide. I especially love Purdy’s Chocolatier. I have had a craving for their famous hedgehogs for months but I also have a strong urge to try one of their new quinoa and hemp hearts chocolate bars. I figure you can never go wrong with giving chocolate as a gift.
For years I have longed to own a pair of these Manitobah Mukluks. Growing up in Northern Manitoba they are almost a must. I always admire the footwear of many a person throughout the winter season. The bead work on some of these items is truly amazing. I wouldn’t mind seeing a pair of these or even a pair of moccasins under the tree for me.
I haven’t owned a nice bedding set in such a long time. The trouble is that there is so much selection available now that I am having a difficult time deciding on what to get! Someone needs to make the decision easy for me by giving me a set for Christmas. I found a couple of sets for my holiday gift guide that I like from Wayfair.
Since starting my job at my place of employment I have been exposed to the wonderful world of Epicure. (I did know about it and use some of the products before I went back to work full-time.) However, now Epicure is using a healthy eating and lifestyle approach and I am quite intrigued by it. A few of the products that I have my eye on are the multipurpose steamer, cakes for one set, and perfect petites.
Whenever I buy myself a purse it is regularly one that costs between $15 – $30. Only once have I ever bought myself a purse that cost more than $100 and it came to about $120 total. I loved that purse. I had to include a brand name purse in my gift guide! I would not mind if I saw a brand name purse under the tree this Christmas.
These are my favourite, favourite brand of shoes ever. I have worn them since I was a teen. Because I am on my feet a lot during the day, I would love to have a pair of their GOwalks to keep my feet comfortable at work.
Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp
These lamps put me into a relaxed state of being. It’s one of the many amazing features and benefits to owning a Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp. I love that you can even purchase ones that you can plug into your computer by a USB port to help bring positive energy to your home or work space!
Open Hearts by Jane Seymour
Jane Seymour has been one of my most favourite actresses and idols ever since I was a teen. The story behind her Open Hearts by Jane Seymour Collection is wonderful and inspiring. Aren’t the above pieces gorgeous?
Spa and/or Assorted Gift Cards
Another great gift idea I came across the other day was to purchase a gym pass. One of our local gym’s is offering people a chance to buy a five punch or a ten punch gym pass during the holiday season. This is an awesome chance for those who receive the passes to participate in various classes or to use the gym space at their own leisure. It is a great opportunity to test out the local gym before committing to a yearly membership.
One can never go wrong with giving a few your loved ones gift cards during the holiday season. Does someone you know need a few hours to themselves? Why not give them a gift card to their favourite spa to enjoy a relaxing pedicure, manicure and/or massage! Personally, I always ask for iTunes and Chapters gift cards. I can never have enough songs to listen to and books to read.
Did I miss anything on this gift guide? What is on your wish list this Christmas?
Disclosure: This is NOT a sponsored post. These are just some items that I love and that I wanted to share with all of my readers.
